OUR STORY

We founded UNROOTD CHAPTRS in 2025 in Chicago, at a moment of change when we were both starting fresh chapters in our own lives. That personal transition became the seed of something bigger: a fashion built on a commitment to craftsmanship, culture, and conscious creation.

Rooted in the heritage of French design, every garment is crafted in France in luxury ateliers, with attention to detail and uncompromising quality. Because we believe in slow, sustainable fashion, we exclusively use noble materials that shape silhouettes and embody lasting elegance, as a conscious alternative to both overproduction and inaccessibility.

Each collection begins in Paris and opens a new chapter for another city, blending timeless French sophistication with the contrasts, energy, and urban spirit of its destination. From London to New York, Tokyo and beyond, we reimagine Parisian allure through a global lens, creating a visual language that transcends borders.

THE INSPIRATION OF OUR FIRST CHAPTER

One of us was raised among the sharp lines and whispered elegance of France. The other grew up in London, where fashion walks a fine line between rebellion and legacy.

This capsule collection is our conversation—stitched from memories, obsessions, and contradictions. From Paris to London draws its soul from both sides of the Channel: the fluid confidence of French couture, and the untamed charm of British style. It is a wardrobe for those who move between worlds. For the restless spirit who respects the codes of the past, but isn't afraid to rewrite them.

Our commitment to timeless and uncompromised quality is driven by a profound reverence for the masters who came before us. We design with a deep respect for heritage, creating pieces that blur the lines between masculine structure and feminine grace.

We pay homage to The Parisian Discipline, like the architectural rigor of Dior and the timeless allure of Chanel couture. Yet, we are equally driven by the revolutionary spirit of Saint Laurent, who taught the world that a tuxedo could empower anyone. We aim to offer that same "silent power" as a sophistication that sits perfectly on any silhouette.

We then mix it with The London Spirit by channeling the dramatic storytelling of Alexander McQueen and the fearless, punk-infused deconstruction of Vivienne Westwood. This is where tailoring loses its stiffness to gain an edge. An attitude that belongs to no specific gender, only to the free-spirited.

The result is a study in contrasts. We have taken the codes of royalty like structured coats and noble wool, and disrupted them with the grit of the street.
